2018 IPWDA Regional Training Seminar

  When: May13th to the 18th, 2018

Grand Rapids PD, Newaygo Sheriff’s Office, Mecosta Sheriff’s Office and Spectrum Police Authority


Camp Grayling in Grayling Michigan

  Cost: $425 includes training fees, meals and lodging.


MCOLES Funding Pending approval


The seminar will be limited to a total of 40 K-9 teams. First come first serve on reservations.

The tentative schedule will be:

Sunday: Noon Check in and select venues open for certifications

Monday and Tuesday: IPWDA certifications with IPWDA Master Trainers and Trainers.

Wednesday and Thursday: Scenario based training at the CACTF facility. Trainers and Master . Trainers will be on hand to assist with trouble shooting K-9 issues.

Friday: Check out and departure

IPWDA certification requires the team to have an active IPWDA membership.

***** PLEASE NOTE: NON DEPARTMENTAL K-9 Teams are required to pay an additional $250 for Narcotic testing.  (whether regular or associate member)
