Arrival Sept. 26th Master Trainers Executive Board
Friday Sept. 27th- work day, pre-planning and staging of event and supplies
Saturday- Sept. 28th Executive Board Meet 10am (Recess at 1130am until 2pm)
Saturday – Sept. 28th Accreditation starting 1130-2pm
Saturday – Sept. 28th E-board reconvenes at 2pm
Saturday 28th 3pm early check in and registration
Sunday Sept 29th at Noon Registration check in (Starts/continues)
Sunday Sept. 29th General membership meeting at 430pm
Sunday Sept. 29th General Participants Pic-nic starting at 6pm
Monday-Thursday Sept 30th-October 3rd 8am daily safety meeting and briefing by all M/T’s and staff
Tuesday October 1st   630pm Banquet and Awards
Thursday October 3rd 2pm National event closed


  • Master Trainers plan on leaving evening of Thursday after 2pm plan accordingly or use Friday October 4th as a travel day.
  • Expenses are re-imbursed by the Treasurer as to the following- A comparison between driving at Government rate per miles only, or checking airlines and rental cars rates?
  • Travel days for food will be re-imbursed- all re-imbursements must have receipts.
  • Daily Sunday-Thursday Breakfast 6am-730am
  • Daily Sunday-Thursday Lunch 1130a-1pm
  • Daily Mon (Tuesday Banquet) Wednesday Dinner 5p-630p
  • Hospitality suite opens 630pm beginning Saturday September 28th daily.
  • Merchandise sold daily by Merchandise Chairman Lindsay or Treasurer Naperalski

***We will not have the venues to accommodate testing two dogs with the same handler in any one discipline. If you are going to test two dogs, they must be in different disciplines.

This seminar is offered by the International Police Work Dog Association (IPWDA) and hosted by the Grand Rapids Police Department

Cost: $450 includes training fees, meals and lodging.

The seminar will be limited to a total of 40 K-9 teams.   First come first serve on reservations.  

The tentative schedule will be

INCLUDES all training, meals, lodging, and more. (Bring your own bedding and towels - this is a military base with nice accommodations).
